Mark is the Senior Manager for Cisco TAC and is joining us to share his knowledge on how to best utilize this essential Cisco resource. Cisco's Technical Assistance Center provides 24x7 support by utilizing engineers across the globe, and is the backbone of Cisco's support services.

April 2008 - IPv6 Security
Presented by Scott Hogg, GTRI
Aside from being the Director of Advanced Technology Services at GTRI, and frequent presenter at RMCUG, Scott is also the currently the Chair of the Rocky Mountain IPv6 Task Force, and has spent the past 7 years researching IPv6 technologies and assisting federal organizations with IPv6 planning.

Scott's presentation includes security issues related to IPv6, and protective measures to guard against threats to ensure a secure deployment of IPv6 technology.

Jeff Doyle, CCIE No. 1919, is a professional services engineer and IPv6 solutions manager, and author of CCIE Professional Development: Routing TCP/IP, Volumes I and II; OSPF and IS-IS: Choosing an IGP for Large-Scale Networks, and many other titles. Specializing in IP routing protocols, MPLS, and IPv6, Jeff has designed or assisted in the design of large-scale carrier and services provider networks in North America, Europe, and Asia..

Presented by Jeff Doyle of Jeff Doyle & Associates, author of Cisco's best selling TCP/IP Routing Volume I and II. Jeff's presentation covered authoritative studies on the startling depletion rate of IPv4 addresses, and how to create a feasibility and transition plan for IPv6.
